Visitor Reviews

The former KGB headquarters has been closed and is currently being transformed into luxury apartments. However, the KGB prison cells remain open to visitors.

**★★★★★ Mathias Forrisdahl — a year ago

Interesting visit and something everyone needs to learn about, so it never happens again. Its very central, easy to access just below the street level to enter the dungeons. Visit does not take too long. You can easily see everything in 30minutes.

The museum depicts the horrors of Soviet oppression in Estonia through interactive first-hand accounts.

The building in now apartments but below is a very small but interesting museum. You can go and see the former KGB interrogation room and prison cells. It cost 9 euros to enter.

**★★★★☆ Ashley Primo — a year ago

It was a very interesting place to visit, with a lot of history — however it’s fairly small, and crowded.

Ideally they should do smaller scheduled groups, and some kind of guide would make the experience even better.

Historical place in the old town, not really big. Visiting the former headquarters won't take you all day. Inside: remaining old details accompanied by private stories and history. Daily open, entrance free for small children.
