Beautiful beach. Crystal clear water. Felt very safe when we were there. Small waves, enough for kids to boogie board and have fun. Patrolled area near surf club. Small cafe with good food and drink options, convenient if staying at the beach all day. We were fortunate to rent a holiday home directly opening up onto the beach. Very nice!

Lovely and long sandy beach suitable for swimming and boogie boarding. Accessible via a reasonably steep ramp to the sand near where the toilet facilities are located. Parking on street. The sand is very fine and clean - the water was very clear when we were there. A popular place on a hot summer day - there’s no shade so bring your own. The beach is patrolled daily over the peak summer holiday period from 10am.

Fabulous beach for surfing small and medium waves. I've been both to Warrnambool Flume/Surf Beach and Port Fairy East Beach, and Port Fairy takes the medal. The waves are more visible (easier to predict if they can be surfed) even with winds from S/SW, and the ocean is, on average, quieter, thus allowing the paddle to be easier and less tiring. Warrnambool Beach ocean conditions are usually more unstable; waves that seem to be surfa-able but suddenly turn out to not break at all or have three to
