A small but fascinating museum, detailing all the wars that have happened here on Crete from 18th-19th centuries. 4 rooms available of Cretan warfare history in English language to explore. Plenty of interesting military uniforms, weapons used - both big & small, war artefacts, vehicles & a helicopter are on display. The WW2 display was for us, the most moving as we read how brave & sacrificial the Cretan people were in the face of Nazi tyrany, which we should not forget.
