A very much recommended visit when in Pirano. Tartini is an indispensable figure for understanding 18th-century European music, and visiting his house in Pirano is very exciting and inspiring. Although he spent most of his career in Padova, it's fascinating to visit his house in his birthplace in Istria. He was known as Maestri delle Nazioni (Master of the Nations), as violinists from all corners of the continent and beyond (even from Java) came to take lessons with him. Thanks to Comunità degli
