So fun to visit the locks. And salmon ladder. Great walk thru the gardens. My parents owned the Lockspot during the World Fair in 62. The Govt locks was our back yard. Free admission.

Carl S English Jr Botanical Garden is a lovely garden to visit with plethora of rich flora, plenty space to sit, walk around, watch sunsets, go for a run or take your pet for a walk.. If you visit during the fish migratory season you would be able to spot them on the fish watching ladder. And.. if you are in luck, you could find the ballard locks in action, which are fascinating to watch.
