A lovely botanical garden that I visit every year during the Christmas season. The festive light decorations are truly special and create a magical atmosphere that feels different every time. It’s a wonderful place to take a slow walk, enjoy the scenery, and get into the holiday spirit. I always look forward to coming back each year.

A truly magical place. The Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh is peaceful, beautiful, and full of life. The gardens are perfectly kept, with stunning plants, wide paths, and so many quiet corners to explore. What made the visit extra special were the squirrels. They were everywhere—curious, playful, and completely fearless. My son was absolutely amazed. Watching his excitement as the squirrels ran past us and climbed the trees made the visit unforgettable. This is a perfect place to slow down, co

I've always enjoyed the Botanic gardens in day light but by night it is extra special. The light shows and accompanying music are mystical and create an amazing atmosphere. The shop was open and packed with lovely gifts and festive ornaments. Hot drinks and food available too. A great experience for all the family.

Wonderful Botanic garden resting just outside the city centre of Edinburgh. Escaping the hectic Chinese crowd on the Royal Mile, you come to peace directly. All on walking distance.. Dont forget to visit the teahouse for a tasty beverage with a Ginger Beer.

Beautiful gardens with free entrance (they have daily garden tours for a fee) that you can easily spend a few hours roaming around. You can always find a peaceful spot on the grass or on the many benches available throughout the garden. They also have many areas that are wheelchair accessible.
