One of the few remaining parks of Kathmandu. Leave the monkeys alone and you'll be fine, they are well behaved unless you have food items on you.

Bhandarkhal jungle or Bhandarkhal garden is confined to the Pashupatinath area. Besides its natural beauty, it has religious links with the activities happening in the temple. A peaceful place just in side of Ringroad near Gaushala opposite of Pashupati. I have no idea about this place and just because of curiosity i went inside this park because a lady and her small child carrying a bucket full of corn and bread. so i follow them and do you know what i found ??? the park is full with monkeys :

Bhandarkhal Jungle is a perfect spot for those looking to take a break from the busy city. It’s not a huge jungle, but it’s calm and full of greenery. The walk through the trails is very refreshing, and you can easily lose yourself in nature here. It’s a quiet place to relax, take in the fresh air, and enjoy some peace away from the usual noise of Kathmandu.

It is an ideal place for morning walk for me. You can get in from the east gate. There is stone paved walk where you can walk or run. I assume, a circle of ourter walk is approximately one kilometer. You can choose short walk too. One good thing is there is no street vendors inside the park/jungle. Be aware of Monkeys...
