We were in Lisbon for 6 days waiting for our cruise. We took a tour to the Belém area to see the Belém tower, Monument to the Discoveries and the Monestery . In the area, walking along the river we passed by the Belém Lighthouse. It is old and not particularly attractive. But the area is nice to walk and enjoy the sights. On another day, we took the boat tour and it also passed by the Belém Lighthouse.

The lighthouse may be historic but it’s a very small one and looks dated, potentially not even maintained. It’s located between the Monument of Discoveries and the Tower of Belém, both of which are much more impressive. The whole surrounding area is great though, so it’s worth seeing it in passing at least.
