Gorgeous, fun, easy little walk. Beautiful, carefully written and curated plaques about the local wildlife.

Beautiful hidden gem. Wetland preserve is owned and maintained by locals who care about wildlife. Definitely recommend if you are a nature lover. It's so quiet and there are so many birds and small animals to spit!

Thunderstorms interrupted our waterfall chasing, so, we switched gears and drove to somewhere we'd never been. What a lucky day!!
A horseshoe-shaped parking lot with a walk-through gate into a fabulous garden filled with native plants & each has informational signs. Bat houses dot the trees.
From there, you follow a short path past the restroom (with an incinerator toilet!) & head to the boardwalk thst runs through a beautifully laid out wetland.
Big Bonus: It is Fully Accessible in all areas

Can’t tell you how cute this place is. If your a bird lover it’s the best place around to see birds. I love how unique it is and it’s the easiest for walking around. Very short so don’t expect a huge hike.

My wife and I brought our two children here on a Saturday in early spring. The Friends of the North Pikes Creek Wetlands have done a fantastic job conserving the site and making it an interesting place for the public to visit. There's an excellent smooth trail, brand new boardwalk into the wetland, and nice interpretive signs. At the end of the boardwalk you can see a great blue heron rookery in the distance. Trail length is 0.2 mile (0.4 mile round trip). If you want to see more of the wet
