Nice place to visit, the church is really pretty. There is an entry fee however.

An incredible place to visit, take the time to slowly explore, admire the paintings and absorb the ambience. The church area is up a small staircase. It’s an opportunity to escape the busy city surroundings and appreciate the paintings in quietness.

Beautiful old church. Definitely worth visiting- especially during Saint Dominic celebrations

The Basilica of Saint Dominic is one of the 3 parish churches of Malta. The first stone was placed in 1571. It was partially damaged by storms and earthquakes, declared unsafe and closed. A new Church was built on the same site and it was opened in 1815. The Dominican Order is ruling the church and the convent behind. The interior is just stunning and the dome is wonderful, with light blue paintings. It is accessible for free on Sunday.

It's not the most noticeable church from the outside as it is on a typical Valletta narrow street, but the interior is beautiful with its many works of art.
