The Basilica of Bom Jesus in Old Goa, a UNESCO World Heritage site, was built between 1594 and 1605 by Jesuit missionaries to house the remains of St. Francis Xavier, a key figure in spreading Catholicism. Famous for its Baroque architecture, it's a major pilgrimage site, holding the miraculously preserved body of the saint, who is believed to possess healing powers, making it a blend of faith, history, and cultural heritage. A significant pilgrimage destination for Christians worldwide.A powerf
