Perfect spot for a hot summer day! Beautiful sandy beach, clean lifeguarded swimming area, plenty of shade, and crystal-clear water. My kid had a blast at the play areas while I enjoyed the relaxing lake vibes—way nicer than a pool!

Beautiful lake with sandy beach and lifeguarded swimming area. Lots of parking and good clean facilities. Also plenty of shade under the trees. Clean water! Would definitely recommend coming here on a hot day to cool down. Much nicer than a swimming pool. Lots of great play areas for the kids too.

We came here after a day in Colmar in summer as the heat was too much to bear in the city. The water is cold (this is a feature during a heat wave) and it's a nice beach with a snack/Burger stand, showers, and changing rooms. There aren't any lockers once you enter and reentry isn't permitted so I recommend leaving valuables in the car. Parking is free (but has a 2m height limit), but not much availability to reach here by public transit.

At the entrance, there is a checkpoint where all items brought inside are inspected. Bringing alcoholic beverages is prohibited. The entrance fee is 4 Euro for both children and adults. The designated swimming area is limited and supervised. There is a small grassy area with some trees where visitors can relax in the shade. A large parking lot is available free of charge. Restrooms are also provided inside the facility.

We read some good reviews on google and decided to go. Unfortunately as we are on vacation and have a roofbox on the car and the parking did not allow more than 2m height. I understand that they don’t want campers here but this was very disappointing for us and the children.
