A nice, relaxed market with friendly people and lots of different and yummy food places to eat and have a drink. You get nice souvenirs and, if you need to, some fake fashion. Prices are, like on every market, negotiable and differ on how you treat the people working there. So be as nice as you expect them to be.

We went there earlier that day and it was a good call. Not that crowded.

Fun very large market with a wide variety of vendors. Many souvenirs options, t shirts and well known brand (most likely knockoffs but not bad quality…) backpacks.

You can easily spend a few days walking through this market but before you go make sure to check it’s open since they close 3 days a week.

Busy and hundreds of stalls, be careful with prices and haggle well as a tourist market they charge a premium and the next shop over will likely be half the price.. good fun though and great selection of Thai delights.. food choice is great with local specialties such as crocodile and bugs!

Bang Niang Market was okay, but not as good as I expected. The market is really big, with many aisles and lots of vendors, but most of them sell almost the same items. There isn’t a big variety, which makes it feel a bit boring after a while. That’s the main reason I can’t give it 4 stars.

One good thing is that it’s not as crowded as some other markets. Since it’s open many times during the week, people visit at different times, so it doesn’t get too packed. That makes walking around a bit eas

Mix of food and product vendors, many selling the same items (you may prefer to browse through entirely first before buying). Minimal bargaining possible, catered for tourists. Overall not a must see.

We liked the ice cream rolls and joined a long line which moves slow only because each order is made with theatrics. The end result is airy and light.

Taxis / tuktuks available along main road end of market with flat rates back to hotels (pending distance).
