We took the Thursday at 930am garden tour with Matthew, a student at the University of Malta. Matthew was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable on the plants and trees in the Argotti Garden. He gave us the history behind the garden too. We really enjoyed the tour and the gardens. Very much worth the 5 euros.

Serene park, great for walks alone or with your pet. Wonderful views of the cities like Hamrun, Qormi. There are benches where you can sit down take breaks and the botanical gardens is so beautiful.

Large open area with many trees and plantings with fountains and water features. The area is clean and safe with well managed gardens.
The Botanic Garden offers tours on Thursday from 9:30 to 11:00. Our guide on the Thursday that we visited was very knowledgeable about the plants and the environment and taught us all so much about Malta, the indigenous plants and trees. What a great experience. Also, it was fun to walk around the garden itself and explore the plants and trees.

The Argotti Botanic Gardens in Floriana are a quiet and peaceful spot, great for a short stroll or a break from the busier parts of Malta. The gardens are well-kept and offer some lovely views over the harbor.
While not very large, the space has a calm atmosphere and a mix of local and exotic plants. There are also a few shaded areas and benches, which make it a nice place to relax.
It’s not a must-see attraction, but if you’re nearby or enjoy green spaces, it’s definitely worth a visit. Entry
