What an amazing, so well curated and laid out museum - jam packed with so much history, information and interactive screens. We were amazes at how large it was and how well laid out all of the exhibits were. Amazing and a must visit if you are in siem reap to gain knowledge of previous historical periods of the Khmer empire.

This museum is culturally, historically and national important and really should be one of the first places you visit in Siem Reap - even before Angkor Wat so as to get an idea of the history of the ancient Khmer Empire.

Reserve 3-4 hours if you want to have a proper pacing. My daugther who got the audio was much slower. No worries, muzeum also provide a short clip at each section.
