A little tired, but it's worth it. Halfway there you see a wonderful view and feel the fresh air, and reaching the goal is very satisfying.

Climbing the La Penitencia walkway to the San Cristóbalito Temple is a rewarding experience. Although the walk is steep, the route is steeped in history and offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the city. Surrounded by nature and tranquility, the walkway invites reflection and is perfect for those seeking a deeper connection with their surroundings. Upon reaching the temple, the sense of accomplishment and the beauty of the place make every step worthwhile.

A good view from the mirador but trees do block view somewhat. View from top of church steps A fair climb up the steps. Has to be done though as the steps look soooo tempting Rest awhile on stone benches There is an enterprising small kiosk/shop halfway up!! Walk around to rear of church and you find a car park ,another view through the woods, a flagpole, bandstand and at the far end a VERY WELL EQUIPPED outdoor gym with equipment for children and adults. There was a fancy little bus thing pa
