The Dates Festival in Al Hessah was such a great experience. The atmosphere was lively, and everyone there was super friendly and helpful. There was a real sense of community, and you could tell a lot of effort went into making the event enjoyable. Overall, it was a fantastic festival and definitely worth visiting. FYI you can buy your entrance ticket at the gate by scanning the code and it’s only 10sars!

When the scorching desert sun sets, only then does the city arise from its slumber. We were fortunate enough to visit here during a cultural festival. We were entertained by bag-pipe-and-drum music from Oman, games display, live music and much more. The well-maintained little cubicle stands were filled with local hand crafters, a magnificent sculptor, grass matt basket weavers, a drum maker, wooden products, jewelry sellers and many more.
