The Santorini Lighthouse is a great spot for watching the sunset, but it’s also worth visiting in the early morning if you’re looking for a calm and peaceful view.
The lighthouse itself is closed to the public, so you can’t access it directly. However, if you walk above the area, there is a small cave and a rocky ledge from where you can look out over the sea. The view is beautiful, but you should be very careful — the terrain can be dangerous and there are no safety barriers. There’s almost no

There were hardly any tourists in winter which makes it an ideak location to go to. Our guide said that the lighthouse represented the farthest point in Santorini from Oia. The winds were strong and the crushing waves on the sand dunes were eroding the peaks with visible sand trails. Be sure to wear your shades the sand could get in your eyes! Love it! No admission during winter.

Serene and quite with great views. Nice area to relax and listen to the wind and waves! You cant go into the lighthouse but still nice to visit. Parking is limited if you take a car, you will need to park on the road and walk a little ways or take a scooter and squeeze in!

Visited twice, one for sunset. The rocks were quite busy even out of season so I can't even imagine it in main season!
Otherwise fantastic views, totally worth it!
If you drive don't go to the end, there is only space for 4-5 cars and nowhere to turn around you'll need to reverse.

Didn't see any ticket counter and the main gate was locked. Most people just walked around the hill to see the lighthouse from all sides. And also to get really nice views of the caldera.
A couple cars appeared at the bottom of the stairs to the lighthouse as I was leaving. A bunch of people got out of the cars with luggage and someone opened the gate to the entrance of the lighthouse. Not sure what that was about.
