Interesting site with short walk along the hill path. Stout shoes are needed as the path is uneven, but there is a good hand rail in the places its needed.

The bar was closed when I was there, I suspect it opens in peak season as access to it would be from the Hotel for supplies.

Good circular walk if going from the hotel, up the path through the site and out to the bay and shops.

Realling interesting history to see where the original dwellings were established along side the water supply run

Interesting place, well explained history and what you see. The entrance is close to the pin, if you get to the corner of the park you see signs. Take water on a hot day and prepare for a little hike through the area, easy though. Visit the area before going to the viewpoint. From the viewpoint you go on a path towards the bar (temporarily closed now) and continue to the cemetery, with great views and geological formations on the way. Not much to see here, unless you're interested in an old cemetery that has been excavated. The view is quite nice over the city and harbour though. Entrance is free for hotel guests at Cordial Mogan Playa. I would recommend to go here in the morning or afternoon, just be aware that the entrance and exits closes. We had to go all the way back to the hotel entrance as the other exit had closed, fortunately hotel staff had noticed we were there so they opened the entrance at the hotel for us.

With very few cultural places to visit on the island, we thought we would give this place a go!

We it's a break from the beach and resorts, so that's a plus.

It is cheap to enter and great views when walking around the site.

It's basically settlement dating from the Middle Ages to the present.

There must be about 20 or so excavated building foundations. Once you have read the signs on the first couple, you have read all of them. All the signs say the same thing with slightly different wordin
