Less visited which makes it even more spectacular. It’s larger than many churches in the area, and much more detailed in its structure carved out of the hill. Highly recommend popping in on your way in or out of Goreme.

We walked here by ourselves- not a person in sight. It was the first little bit of exploring we did in Göreme. A great introduction to all the stunning sites of the underground city and open air museum
