Yunshanping is truly a breathtaking place to visit. A vast grassland stretches out in front, with the majestic Jade Dragon Snow Mountain rising in the distance. The combination of open fields, clear skies, and snow-capped peaks creates an astonishing and unforgettable view. Standing here, you can feel both the grandeur and serenity of nature. It’s an excellent spot for photography and a peaceful walk—highly recommended for anyone visiting Yunnan.

This is definitely a must-visit if you are interested in landscape photography. The only downside is that there are too many tourists to avoid. However, you can choose to wander a bit off the path, as we did, and using long lenses can help isolate your subject. Be sure to check which month is the best to visit in order to enjoy clear skies and avoid the rainy season.
