Nice archeological site with a large ball court. Being physically fit helps to enjoy all the site features with a vista point.

Only a small site, but worth a visit. Only time I have ever seen petroglyphs at a Mexican archeological site. Big party going on when we got there, lots of kids in costume. I wish I had taken the time to take the path up to the top of the cliff to see what ruins were up there...

I didn't think I was going to be able to fit this in....and then found it to be way more impressive than expected. It's more extensive than it looks in the pics. For about the first 20 minutes I was the only person there, after which maybe 5 others showed up over the next hour. At the end I followed a small trail off the parking lot to a potential cave painting site (?) and scared up a number of bats along the way, one of those that didn't scare pictured.

Amazing, undervalued and intimate archeological site. You won't find the majestic structures you'll see at Monte Albán but instead a small town in ruins that is now populated by ants, flowers, lizards and rabbits. The place has a unique energy. We were literally the only people in the whole site. If you are around please visit and enjoy it before it becomes famous.

I loved this place! A highlight of my trip. I say this because I had the entire place to myself. No one else there! Incredible to walk around an ancient archaeological site by yourself and take it all in. Very tranquil and relaxing. Good hiking too if you choose to follow the path up the mountain. You’ll be rewarded with incredible views of the site and mountains in all directions. I really enjoyed this stop. Spent about two hours including the hike up the mountain. Highly recommended.
