Zamczysko Hill isn't just a name; it's the actual hill on which the structure stood. The foundations of the walls remain in the ground. The entire walls have not survived because the bricks were dismantled and reused in contemporary buildings. I was fortunate enough to see all the excavated walls with my own eyes; such an opportunity won't be possible anytime soon. For many years, speculation arose about the structure's location. It has a pretty name, but it's actually a residential area of houses with gardens, quite picturesque. "Zgórze Zamczysko" (Castle Hill) is the access to the reservoir from the back, meaning not from the Old Town and Zamość Rotunda, but from the fish reservoir. It's nice and quiet there, where fishermen hang out. Further towards the Children's Home, there's a barbecue or bonfire area called "grzybek" (a mushroom). I recommend it in the summer.
