Wonderful park with ship-themed playground and plenty of swings. The beautiful lake is visible, and there are benches and clean public bathrooms. It’s free if you walk to it. You can get a free parking pass if you’re a nearby resident at Lake Dallas city hall. If not, you’ll need to pay at the park entrance to park.

This weekend, the 4th of July, I made reservations to this place it was family-friendly, close to home, and very affordable . They also have amazing staffing there that was very friendly and caring. Lieutenant Ms Brenda is amazing, very thoughtful of others & she made us feel safe & comfortable during our stay. We're so thankful to her . We all were so grateful for her. She did above and beyond. Wish all campgrounds had a staffing person like her to serve & protect others. I highly recomm

Because sited the park on a weekday so it wasn’t very busy, there is a decent shore area great for beach walking. Bathrooms are available and open all seasons. I would say the park is great to reset from the city and crowds. Entry is 5 dollars

This is simply a city park with a campground situated on a large lake. There is a boat ramp, fishing pier, playground and a long greenway trail for walking or biking.

The campground has tent sites and RV sites with water and electricity, none of which are great. They are just crammed together along the park road. It is certainly adequate if you just need an overnight stop. Hopefully you don’t need a shower, they are provided but dirty, your towel and everything else gets wet and the shower head
