Love coming to this park on Sunday’s for the farmers market. Easy to check out all of the vendors and then find a stop under the trees to cool down during the summer.

This review is focused on the playground - which is great. There are two large areas - one for older children and one for younger - as well as a small water spray feature. The area for older children features a large and sprawling play structure with a variety of climbing elements and slides. Great park to visit whether you want to zen out alone, spend time with family and friends, or meet new people. It's busy, yet relaxing and comfortable. A group of us came Sunday afternoon for an acroyoga jam. Some novice, some advanced, some never tried before.

The park has a lot of well maintained grass. There's a very popular dog park that seems nice. And also basketball courts.

The neighborhood of Wicker Park is really cool. You see hip retail next to mom and pop happening in the shop window, strollers and dogs and doctor's offices next to any ethnic food place imaginable. The broom of the statue is interesting and can be seen 2 ways.
