exquisite Ming-Qing architectures and cultural relics. lots of digital displays in the halls, not boring at all. also found a cute cat in the garden. all in all worth the ticket price. plus there's a new metro station (Wanshou Temple line 16) just around the corner. very convenient.

It looks as if it's being renovated (or changed...). I believe it will be beautiful when complete. The historic buildings would be wonderfull to see.

It's a 1.2 km walk (20 min) from exit A of the National Library metro station on line 4 or 9. It's a Buddhist temple and worshipers are seen making offerings. However, no incense and no monks. Red placards are hung along the fence with written blessings. There's a bonus to visiting since the Beijing Art Museum is housed on site. A few English signs with brief details are found on building entrances.

Also, the bathrooms are squatters. Just yucky.

The entrance ticket includes admittance to the B
