A truly beautiful traditional Fijian village with breathtaking surroundings. The people were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and genuinely caring, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The sense of community and culture was wonderful to experience. There were also great souvenirs available for purchase, all locally made and perfect keepsakes of our visit. A memorable and enriching experience.

It was a great opportunity visiting the first landing village and hearing about their history. We were able to go on a short guided tour through the village for $10 each. There were also souvenir stands set up at the entrance. Women were asked to wear sarongs over their clothes which were provided and to remove hats.

Really loved the chief's traditional house. There was a service going on in the church, so I could not go inside. A local guide took me around. I wished I could have roamed around on my own as I do not like tours. Nice well kept inhabited village.

I would get it five stars but I think the guide was upset that I did not give her extra money. It was supposed to be an hour tour. It lasted about 25 minutes. I'm sure I did not get to see everything in the village. I had to ask to walk down to the beach

Great little first landing village with loads of history. A local lady will escort you around and tell you all the stories.. she even sang a song in their church which was lovely.
