Beautiful area by the sea where you can watch the pretty boats and yachts, as well as the wonderful sea. Especially magical at sunset. Right next to the city hall square and Nobel Peace center, you can enjoy a lovely walk in the area.

Of all the Nordic capitals Oslo has the nicest harbour, second only maybe to Stockholm. From this point, where all the ferries and bigger cruises depart to their different destinations you'll see many of the city's features and, in front of you, many islets or peninsulas like Bygdoy that make this harbour such a fascinating place.

We took a ferry around the bay and went to the FAM museum. As it's Independence day in Norway on 17th May 2023, there are many Norwegian celebrating, wearing their custom uniforms and partying.
The ferry trip is fun and highly recommended.

This view point is where you can watch the Oslo fjord and the sea view of the harbor in Oslo city. There are many ships stopping here. The scenery here is beautiful. Also, you can take cruises or boats to other places of Norway from this pier. Good and must-to-visit place!

This is a wonderful place for pictures. You can stand here and watch the ships come into the harbour. There are all types of ships from boats to ferries. The view of the Oslo fjord in front of you is amazing and on a clear sunny day, you can see all the way to the nearby islands. There are some tour offices here where you can get tickets for a boat tour around the nearby islands.
