Great view, romantic atmosphere, and a place full of energy. Around the area, there are spots where you can enjoy coffee or beer while taking in the view, as well as souvenir shops. When I visited, there was a street stall selling anticuchos, so I tried them. They were delicious.

Great views over Sucre, easy to get to, maybe 15-20mins walk from the plaza. There's a nice cafe up here to enjoy the views, and a monastery that you can visit too!

Nice place to watch the sunset. There is a school nearby so in the evening the whole are get filled with kids playing, chatting, hanging out together. Though, in all these chaos you will have your own space and either you can watch the sunset or sit facing opposite to the sunset and see the school children playing, local vendors selling their foods from the street stalls , a nice church standing at the background and the whole world passing by while you are sitting there frozen and trapped insid

Decent place to see the city and surrounding mountains. The caveat is that Sucre sits within the Andean foothills, and while you are technically in the Andes, the views are of rolling hills, dry eroded valleys, folded rock formations and medium-height mountains, rather than the dramatic, snow-capped peaks seen around La Paz or further west.
We were here at 9:20am on an overcast day, perhaps making it less memorable.
