I love botanical gardens. And this one sure hit the spot with its rustic natural. Not too much man-made manicured corners. Love the exotic flowers and trees. Garden is a 1 hr walk and it has elevation too. However Lots of bench throughout the park to sit. So no worries. Park needs more sign to explain where and what the plants are. They only have maps. Some signs are ripped and not updated. Love the tortoise section. Enjoyed feeding them. Little kids were having a good time too. Restrooms are cl

Its a beautiful botanical garden with a great diversity of plants. Especially the amount of endemic plants they have is impressive! Though the place is not only interesting for plants but also for the birds that there are. We found multiple different species like the blue pigeon, tropic bird, bulbul, fodys, myna, kestrel and some more. Also there are lots of flying foxes that can be photographed very well if you are lucky!

Being the first place we visited in Mahè it was an amazing entry experience. All the notes worthy trees are well labeled with a brief description. There were some stinging bugs at one point close to the cannon ball tree, but other than that we had a great time.

Very underwhelming and could really benefit from an infusion of money and care. Very little signage to explain the gardens and different plants we were looking at. Additionally, the grounds were not very well maintained. The highlight for us was the tortoise area. They allow you to go in and feed the tortoises, which was really cool. If they didn’t have this tortoise area, I likely would’ve given this place a one or a two star.

I found this experience/attraction completely underwhelming. It's a small ground. The cafe was closed and had no signs indicating this. So there was numerous tourists walking to the cafe to find it closed with no other alternatives available for even refreshments on a hot day. The tortoises was by far the best thing in the botanical garden.
