In the heart of Ibiza Town, on the grand boulevard, stands this statue honoring General Vara de Rey, the Ibizan general who fell as a war hero in Cuba.
Surrounded by upscale shops, trendy bars, and fine restaurants, this spot exudes a sophisticated atmosphere.

The Christmas market is currently taking place here, which made my visit even more special. I was able to stroll through the festively decorated stalls, discover local products, and enjoy the Christmas atmosphere. The lights, the music, and the scent of sweets and mulled wine transformed the square into a warm, festive setting.

Love this square. It has a sleepy relaxed vibe, but it has many busy shops and cafes. We have had coffee, etc at many of the cafes. Such a lovely place to come.
