If you are visiting Malta make sure you don't forget two words, 'HIDDEN VALLETTA' - they run two attractions in Valletta City Centre and you can buy a combined entry ticket for the Blackfriars Experience AND St Catherine's Monastery & Secret Garden.
This Museum and Church celebrates and traces the history of the Black Friars in Valletta and includes a museum with audio-visual explanation alongside a plethora of historic religious art, vestments and relics. The Church is stunning and you can tak

An unexpectedly engaging glimpse into Valletta’s past, tucked inside the Basilica of St Dominic. The guides are knowledgeable without being overbearing, the exhibits are well-presented, and the whole place has a calm, old-world charm that makes you forget you’re in a tourist hotspot.

This museum and church is a must visit when in Valletta. Since it recently opened after a long renovation the paintings and gold ornaments are as bright as it can be making the church magical. The Museum is worth a visit. In May 2025 the entrance fee for Adults was 8 €. The sad Story is that the light condition inside is not the best. That is a pity for each piece of Art what you can see. And partly there is a lot of dust. The Museum is located a little bit offside City Center. That might be another reason that on

We visited this hidden church by chance. While sitting on the bench we saw a poster and decided to visit it. It is located in a small quiet street a bit outside. The expeditions and rooms on the grounds floor is boring but the church in the second floor is wonderful. The feeling of peace surrounded by artistic masterpieces. The minus:
- The entrance fee if 8.- is too high;
- No special tariffs for adults over 75.
