An amazing experience, can easily spend hours walking around and feeding the deers. Lots of stuff to see and stalls to eat from. Definitely make the trip from Osaka or Kyoto if you can 💖

We took bus to here from train station and we paid 210 Yen per person. Park is huge ! Full of deers! Scenery was perfect specially in November. You can walk from bus stop and take a big turn around park which might take about 2-3 hours. But you can see most of Nara ancient temples and shrines.

So many deer! Such a beautiful park to walk around, feed the deer, and visit temples/shrines.
If you’re coming from the JR station, I’d recommend doing the walk up to the lower border of the park. There are a ton of cute shops along the route. If you take a cab, they might take you to the entrance in the middle of the park for around 16¥. If you ask them to take you to the lower border of the park, it should be around 8¥.

I came here going to the shrine and seeing that there were deers there made me so surprised. The deers are usually friendly but some deers became very angry and attacked some people
