While Digha main beach is very crowded and doesn't have sand, Udaypur is much quiter and it has a long stretch of sandy beach. It's around a 30min walk from New Digha beach, or you can take autos. Good place to see the sunset and sunrise. There is a strech of long "Jhau Bon" behind the sandy beach. Lot of parking space if you are taking your private car. There is a toilet complex and lots of snacks options as well.

The place is good but if you are expecting a good clean and clear arrangement of beach side sitting place then it's not for you. You can seat by the side of sea and enjoy your food. But all the left over and garbages will come to you feet. Live music, live sea food cooking is there but you can't expect a hygiene. Boat service is available there. Not sure about the price.

A liitle away from New Digha towards Orissa border; located in Orissa; no hotels to stay. Quite beach where one can buy fresh catches and get it cooked infront of you in stalls. Good place to take a bath but no place to change clothing except a Sulabh facility.

Beach used to be clean and tidy but now it isn't. You can now experience foul smell at night and would be able to see trash everywhere at the beach front in daytime. Save your time and visit odisha or other clean beaches if you have other options. If this is the first time you are going to visit a beach, don't go here to waste your time as untreated waste of hotels nearby gets dumped directly in to the sea.

This would be the most beautiful and serene beach if this was maintained well. Nice and clean water and proper place for sand to become a well layered Beach. But currently this is so dirty and this place is just a party place and lots of un organised tent and everything.
If you are not in mood to party then it's hard to stay even for 5-10min. The entire area is so messy and smells like fishy. Not suggested if you are traveling with family or kids.
