Do not miss Tusculum and the entire Salona. It is the biggest archaeological park in Croatia with many details. Huge, interesting and a nice place to walk. If is a nice day, wait for a sunset time. No dogs, please.

The Tusculum is a ruined Roman city... It is in complete ruins now... It is quite difficult to understand the structure and what is left now.. I suggest to buy a guide book available at the reception... Read it to understand the ancient city and its history...it's History and story is interesting to know and to relate to... It is not a huge tourist attraction but a good walk in the old city and its history makes it charming... At least spend 2-3 hours to visit it.....

Visited this little museum that sits beside an old church and the ruins of Salona as part of our tour and we really loved the place. It's like stepping into a very colourful history that we did not expect to find in Split, as Roam history is usually confined to Italy.
It's quite amazing experience to admire the ancient architecture of the place and to imagine how the past looked like. The best thing is that unlike other historical tourist attractions, this place is quiet and do not have many to

A tiny museum and shop located on the site of the ancient city of Salona. The museum also has a coffee shop which serves cool refreshments, most needed after hours of walking in the hot Dalmatian sun. There are several shady tree lined areas all around the museum where you can sit down and take a breather.
