Probably the best view of Plovdiv! There’s also a water running via outdoor fountain with drinkable water. Can totally recommend visiting the place! Just make sure you wear comfortable shoes to go all the way up through the Old Town

We visited the place two years ago, the church was still under construction. Now it is finished, beautifully painted and richly decorated. Given the proximity of the ancient theater and the observation deck, the circus is also a tourist attraction.

We know nothing about the history of this Orthodox church, but it appears to be modern. We were able to admire it during our walk to the Roman theater, as it is located nearby. The interior is beautiful, with stunning frescoes, and is definitely worth a visit.
