Well! If you are adult and no kids are accompanig you, you might wish to omit this while visiting Bergen. Although this meseum is unique through its style of interpretation of information. It's interesting to experience the 3D and VR systems. They captured and depicts the fairy tales of Troll quite well and kids will definitely love it. Wheelchair friendly access, storage locker and court hanging space makes it convenient.

This museum is a little hidden gem, and it was great! The museum isn’t big, but takes approx one hour to one and a half to go through. The audio guiding system you get free with paying the entrance fee. The stories and the different trolls, really give you an insight in beautiful, scary, sad and fantasy filled rich adventures! They have really done their best to make the best out of the possibilities telling the stories. Be aware of the troll king! For kids it is a great experience too.

I had a very nice experience at this museum. The tickets are a bit pricey in my opinion, around 170 with a student discount. I was worried that it was going to be mostly for children, but I had a lot of fun, and I also saw that the majority of guests were actually adults. It’s very informative on the legends of trolls, with great visuals. It’s also interactive. I liked the room with board games the most.
