An impressive monument and a great place to meet or get oriented with the city. The river and Roman bridge is directly in front, the cathedral directly behind and the Alcazar Andalusi and Alcazar of the Christian Monarchs just to the right as you face the river. The main tourist office is also located about 30 meters from here and a good place to escape the heat and find clean toilets.

Me looking at this Triunfos de San Rafael in Cordoba in a great weather during end spring season.
You will see this monument when you walking towards the Roman Bridge of Córdoba. I'm surprised to find this, in a small square. This monument dedicated to the Archangel San Rafael.

Triunfo de San Rafael in Córdoba, Spain, a religious monument dedicated to the Archangel Raphael. It’s a quite beautiful piece of art, some maintenance is required urgently though.

Nice old monument right next to the mezquita-catedral and the roman bridge. If you're visiting Córdoba for the first time you'll probably see it without even having to plan for it. I honestly think its location makes it seem less interesting than it is.

Nice and even nicer at night. You don't need to go there specially as you'll certainly pass by it on your way from the Mesquita to the bridge or the other way around.
