This is a new place I visited recently and I was impressed. The research center holds items from the personal collection of a famous Bulgarian art collector and patron. This is the second museum/art space he owns and I was amazed by it. The whole building is an art piece - restored old beautiful building on 4 floors, masterly decorated with glass art. Each floor holds a collection of exhibits. Some of them are African art, but most of them are prehistoric artifacts from Bulgarian lands.

Use the combined ticket with the other museum of the same name. It's a nice elegant place worth a 15-30 minute of your time.

This is a thin building going up several levels. It includes various archeological items, a part from Mali, another larger part from Thracia. It is ok, the stories on the guide leaflet help.
