Tushanwan was an institution started by the Catholic church after the introduction of foreign concessions in Shanghai. What started as a orphanage, grew into several schools dedicated to combining traditional Chinese and western techniques dedicated to furniture, painting, printing, stained glass, silver & bronze working, music and other crafts.
