Loved it. Start early in the morning to avoid heat. Views are amazing, hike is an easy one, 600m elevation gain. Look on Google maps to find the start of the hike. 4h in total up and down.

View is fantastic but this can be a death march…..!!!! It was just straight steps the whole way up (I think we googled it and it’s maybe 1,350 steps). We thought going at 5:30pm in the end of June it would be cooler… it was NOT. Prepare yourself haha! We were sweating bullets and everyone walking past us, up or down, was in their own world of pain. This was a slog!! The view was mostly worth it, but just note this is NOT a leisurely stroll on trails. It is straight stairs the whole way. Some ent

This walk was a real highlight for me.

There are many hairpins close together which means you get high quick. There is always a view the whole way up, whether that is of the fortress, the bay, town and water or the surrounding mountains.

I loved this hike.

It took about 1 hour to get to the top. Going early in the morning means you have the trail all to yourself.

There are 2 buildings on the way up which sell drinks etc. I wish I'd come with money to support it!

Cool views and nice restaurant at the top of the hill. But had to buy ticket 15€ to get to the trail (probably from other side of the trail where was no ticket needed, but not sure).

15euro for a morning hike was a bit rich. I did encounter someone at the top who had no water or supplies of any kind and was covered in scratches. I gave home some water. He wanted to carry onto the next mountain and did not seem to be in a safe space. I notified the staff when I got to the bottom. There attitude indicated the 15 euros has nothing to do with a duty of care to visitors. I give the hike and the view 5 stars. I give 1 star because it was 36C and that fellow could easily be in harm
