Apparently this is every Chinese's persons dream to visit this place? Similar to a pilgrimage of sorts i would suppose.

It is free to visit here but you must reserve the ticket.
A bit tight on security check to enter here, even they opened every water bottle and smell the water. Pack light if you want to enter here.
Beautiful place to visit. You can enter forbidden city after here as well. A bit queue in the morning after I visited here.
There are few shops inside but there wasn't any toilet. You need to cross the gate for the toilet but can't re-enter or maybe I went to wrong toilet 🤔

Super nice place. Must be on your bucket list for China trip. Good walk and good place for family with young children. Don’t forget to bring your drinks and snacks. Enjoy the flag ceremony in the morning and evening.

We visited on a soaking wet day so it was very quiet. Parking for tour buses is a 20 minute walk away from the entrance so we were drenched by the time we finally got to this area. TIP: bring the hotel umbrella!!

beautiful place and would love to come back. Should buy ticket in advance as no guarantee to come in. Keep track to follow lines or else you can get lost.
