Such a beautiful place. So wondrous seeing all the varied plant and tree varieties. I liked the Bonsai House with Bonsais going back decades. It is definitely worth a day out here surrounded by nature with your family and friends. You can take a picnic to enjoy in the gardens or simply stroll and admire the stunning views. The staff at the Visitor Information Centre were really friendly too. It's simply perfect for a lovely, feel-good time.

A truly beautiful place, ideal for strolling amidst an exceptional variety of plants, trees, cacti, ferns, and bonsai. A must-see. The view over the city of Brisbane is wonderful. The Japanese garden with its ponds is magnificent. I highly recommend this garden; it's an essential part of any visit to Brisbane.

A lovely leisurely morning in the cafe over coffee. The cafe has ceiling to floor glass, so the view of the gardens and lawns were pleasant. By the way, the coffee was very good by any coffee snob's standard🙂. I had battered barra with salad and chips. A very generous serving. Next out around the gardens. The paths were safe andkept clean. The gardens are well established with an interesting variety of overaeas plants and trees. The observatory, the fern house, the lilly pond, the tropical glass

The Brisbane Botanic Gardens at Mt Coot-tha are an absolute gem — one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in the city. The gardens are immaculately maintained, offering something for everyone: vibrant tropical displays, serene Japanese gardens, desert landscapes, and shady rainforest walks. It’s the perfect spot for a slow stroll, a relaxing picnic, or simply escaping the city without having to go far.

The layout makes it easy to explore at your own pace, with plenty of benches, water fou

Absolutely mesmerising place, a true escape into nature :peaceful, lush, and full of life. 🌿 Every section has its own charm, from the tropical dome to the Japanese garden and the little hidden walking paths that make you feel like you’ve stepped into another world.

The gardens are quite big, so come with plenty of time to explore and make sure to stay hydrated, especially on warm days. It’s a perfect spot for a slow, relaxing stroll or even a quiet picnic surrounded by greenery. Keep in mind t
