This hilltop mosque has great views of the town. Getting here is a straightforward, uphill walk on paved paths. Takes between 15-30 minutes depending on your walking speed. Impossible to miss or get lost along the way, however the path can be a bit slick when wet, so shoes with good grip are highly recommended in rainy season.
Probably the best views you'll see of the whole town. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for great views and don't mind a bit of exercise.

There are many viewpoints around Chefchaouen, but the best one is the Bouzafer Mosque, also known as the Spanish mosque. It's a modest mosque, but the views from it are breathtaking, and it's also recommended as the best place to watch the sunset.
Of course, there are many viewpoints along the way, so the entire route to the mosque is one huge viewpoint.

Beautiful views and the sunset was romantic and easy to get to. About 30mins walk which is worth it. Many people go there for the sunset but if you prefer quiet i will recommend early in the morning between 8-10am which was beautiful.

I almost gave up but once you reach up there, the view was out of this world. It is free but should go early to get the best spot

a bit long way A walk that made me sweat.
for me, i might not go to this place again. because it is crowded, dont have a spot to sit and see the sunset, i have to sit on the floor🥲. just my opinion it is beautiful but not worth to walk.
btw if you have a plenty time, you can go
