It’s all about the journey. Parked my car at the arrow on the map and walked the rest of the way. If I did it again I’d probably park sooner and give my tires a break. Goats all along the path and I am convinced I saw a glimpse of a monkey! Just the hand climbing out a window of an old abandoned looking shed. The mountains and farm land are breathtaking. The ‘pond’ itself is not impressive in the least, just a muddy hole with some bulldozers.

Body pond s Nature park gives one the feeling of being in a real tropical rain forest albeit not far from civilization. More of a drive or hike through park rather than the ones found in many cities. The nature aspect of the park really stands out. Stretching in the valley from Bendals Village to the follies area of Swetes Village on the other end. The signage is mainly on the Bendals end. Strictly speaking it continues on from the Bendals Main Road heading through the Buckley's Village Valley
