I took this photo when I passed by in November because the autumn leaves were so beautiful. Skunk cabbage also blooms here, but they bloom the earliest in the Hida region around mid-April, with about 10,000 flowers blooming. It's a place where the plants and trees are beautiful in all seasons. There is a campsite nearby, which is perfect for a picnic.

You get to peddle a giant duck around a pond and then walk around the pond and look at flowers. Was super cool.

It goes without saying that this is a place where you can see lots of Asian skunk cabbage. I hope the gift shop is open when the flowers are in bloom.

It was a three-day weekend, but the place was completely deserted. There seemed to be a shooting range nearby, and we could hear gunfire all the time, which was a refreshing change of scenery as it's not something you hear every day. You can stroll around the area, and I'm sure the scenery is beautiful in all four seasons. Next time I'd like to go during the autumn leaves season!!
