The Giardini section offered a completely different atmosphere from the Arsenale — open, leafy, and beautifully laid out. We spent hours wandering between national pavilions like Spain, Denmark, Germany, the U.S., Finland, and France, all surrounded by greenery. If you’re used to seeing churches and palaces and want to see something new, I would definitely recommend. Tickets cost only 25euros and you get access to 2 locations where you can expect to spend 3,5+ hours.

Biomaterials are the future of the construction based on the balance of carbon embedded materials. Here it's still an early stage, academic research but the potential is foreseen and the mix of 3D printing, sea salt algae and these materials is marvelous. The future is coming, but not as fast as climate change calls it for mitigation and adaptation solutions.

Honestly it was great. My friend and I only stayed for a couple of hours because we were going to miss the train back. We got there just before the ticket booth closed so we were able to buy tickets , but I recommend buying them online. We didn’t get to visit each country’s exhibits but the ones we visited were very interesting. Definitely a must do if you’re in Venice. There are also building outside of the gates of the gardens which are part of the exhibition which are worth a visit

The Biennale is always wonderful and worth seeing any year. Some years are better than others. This year had more of a negative connotation to it. However, Australia and the USA were very good and definitely worth seeing, especially Austrália. If you go, make sure the curator explains the Australia exhibit to you. The explanation gives it so much more meaning.
