Very fun and free museum, which is basically a large scale model of BKK. It’s right inside of Benjakitti Park close to the convention center. It’s a little tricky to find even with Google, but it’s worth a quick visit. They close from noon to 13:00 for lunch.

Very cool scale model of Bangkok. Opens 0800-1700 Tues to Sunday (closed Mondays), but note that it shuts 1200-1300 for lunch.

There is a wheelchair/pram lift to get to the second level but for some reason the guards said it is not working at the moment. Hopefully they fix it soon.

How to arrive here:

Walk from the main entrance in front of Convention Centre drop off point turn to the left
Straight and pass through the gate of the museum then turn right
Go straight and walk to the middle entrance
Climb up the staircase then turn right again then you will see the forest city museum
Please regrister name at the front counter

Extraordinary Museum with a full-scale model of the city of Bangkok... And the second level where you can look down on it... Probably the best perspective you will ever get of this amazing City!.... Peace and tranquility easily found in this magnificent park. This park has it all; a beautiful lake, walking and cycling trails, outside gym, birds, flowers, and so many seating areas to enjoy the forest or take in the sunshine.
