It's a 800 meter walk (15min) from exit B of the Qianmen metro station on line 2. The museum is small and can be quickly view in about hour and a half. It's organized well and with a few English signs. The 2nd floor has a history and function the police organization. The 3rd floor has a memorial to police servicemen who died while in service. The 4th floor has a display of weapons.
