Beautiful Neo-Gothic basilica. The Nice facade replicates all the key features of Notre Dame Cathedral of Paris. The first stone was laid in 1864 and completed in 1879. It's convenient located in city center.

We went for the Luminescence show that happens in December - a wonderful display of lights, colours, and live choir music set in this wonderful building! If you get the chance, it's absolutely worth a visit in December, but book tickets for the show in advance!

The light show at the Basilique Notre-Dame de l'Assomption was absolutely spectacular. The interior lighting was breathtaking and enhanced the spiritual atmosphere beautifully. The combination of music and visual effects highlighted the basilica’s undeniable beauty, making it a truly memorable experience.
The only drawback is that the entire narrative is presented in French, so for non-French speakers, it’s more of a visual and musical treat rather than a fully immersive storytelling experience
